Q: I take it you have a Kyocera Brigadier (on Verizon)?
>
A: yes I have a Kyocera Brigadier on Verizon, the Android version is 5.1.1
Q: Are you trying to install a the TWRP custom recovery? I ask this because most VZW devices have locked bootloaders and it's often very difficult to get a custom recovery installed despite being rooted...
>
A: Yes I am installing TWRP from the prompt screen on SuperSU... and I made sure to unlock the bootloader (unlocking bootloader is an option now YAY "Unlock Oem I think is what it said, maybe not")
Q: Or, are you trying to install SuperSU from the Play Store? (that has nothing to do with TWRP, by the way...although you can install the UPDATE-SuperSU-v#.##.zip file from a custom recovery which includes SuperSU)
>
A: I didn't have any troubles with installing SuperSU or it's Binary's
Q: Are you rooted?

A: I think i'm rooted... I used Wondershare's MobileGo to Root the phone, and it said it was successful. However there is no evidence about that
