Looking for a music player app that...

...can play directly from the main folder structure. Meaning, an app in which I can view songs by the folders they're stored in.

So I have a music library of around 14 gigs. Yep, you heard me, haha. It's quite a lot. Obviously, witch such a big collection there's a lot of hurdles when it comes to organizing stuff. I have several folders in which I store my songs depending on "genre", if you may. When listening to music I like to shuffle songs, as that prevents me from listening to the same stuff all the time. However, there's a folder or two that contain upwards of 1000 songs total, which means that if I were to stick with "Shuffle All" (currently using Google Play and it has that option), it'll keep playing songs from those two folders almost all the time, seeing as the amount of music in them overwhelms the amount of songs on the other folders, so that's a big no-no.

I want to select a folder, shuffle all the songs in it, then select another folder and shuffle stuff in it too, and so forth. The problem with Google Play is that there's no option to view songs by the folders they're stored in. The alternative they have to that would probably be the Playlists, but I can only add 1000 songs to a playlist, and as I've mentioned before, I have a category of music that contains more than that, so that's also not an option.

I've heard of several apps on the Play Store such as Poweramp, but does anyone have any other idea?

Thank you for your time.

I would go with PowerAmp because I've used the paid version for a few years now now and I would say it's superior to many. PowerAmp has a Player UI that I would say there's nothing better out there. Also it has multi file protection from your entire device that will eliminate or set 2 - 20 sec notification tones from systems media files so they won't accidentally play in your music files. I can go on and on but I think you can get my point.
