would you please tell me how to do it step by step how to convert to system app before running.

  1. Open Titanium backup. You should see no warnings that root is not available. If you do see it, you may need to fix it first.
  2. Grant Titanium backup root access.
  3. Open Backup / Restore tab.
  4. Find Offline SIM APN in the list.
  5. Short press on the list item, the dialog will open. You will see "Backup properties" and "Special features" with a green text just below title.
  6. Swipe right to navigate to "Special features".
  7. Swipe down the list of options until you see "Convert to system app" in a "System ROM" category. Press "Convert to system app".
  8. After successful conversion, start Offline SIM APN and add the APN again.

Hi, thank you so much for the details, I discovered I have the free version of titanium back up , I couldn't access some features you have mentioned , I think I may need to buy the pro version.
A last question please , shall deroot ( un root)the phone after finishing all the process , is it OK to delete the rooting software

You can delete the su binary and superuser APK, but I'm not sure why would you want to do that.
You've void your warranty anyway. If they see you have added an APN they probably know there is no method to add it without modifying the ROM.

So what I am to understand is to get my vzw sim to work on this rooted phone I have to pay for titanium backup? What a load of bs, I seriously regret buying this phone.

You don't necessarily have to use Titanium Backup.
You can convert the offline SIM APN manually, by moving it's apk from /data/app to /system/app, and setting the apk file permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot.
Or you can search for other tools, like trying /system/app mover.

Also you can edit /etc/apns.conf via Root Browser (or any root file manager with editor or even from adb shell) adding your APN manually:
Search for <apn carrier= and add your copy filling mcc, mnc and apn name, you can find your carrier info by searching it on the Internet.

hi doctoror, the problem is that cant see the APN list , its blank
the offline sim has detected the network APN , I applied them but nothing...sound Im missing something
I runned the offlinesim app from titanium but still cannot see the APN LIST which always blank.

Have gone through exactly these steps?
1) Install Offline Sim Apn
2) Open Titanium
3) Find Offline Sim in Titanium
4) Click on it to open menu dialog
5) Swipe the dialog to right and open Special Features
6) Press convert to system app
7) After finished, close titanium
8) Open Offline Sim Apn from your launcher
9) Add the desired network

If still not working, you may try to reboot before step 8 and continue from step 8.

As an alternative, you can edit the /etc/apns-conf.xml manually from RootBrowser editor or any other root file manager editor (though it is pretty uncomfortable, I would prefer extracting it and editing on PC and putting it back). Find entries with apn-carrier= and insert a copy with your provider's mcc, mnc, apn, mmsport and so on.
This approach is harder so I would encourage you to try offline sim again and check if you done everything in a correct sequence.
