I would like to find a video recorder app with specific requirements:
1. When it starts up, the only button in scope is to start recording video
2. While recording video, the only button in scope is to stop recording
3. After stopping recording, it automatically saves and waits to start recording again
4. Short timer with beeps after request to start recording
5. Autofocus
I tried to build this myself, and I have an app that fulfills the first four requirements. I'm as yet unable to get autofocus to work.
I've seen numerous "quick" video recorder apps on the market, and several of them appear to be identical, probably because they're all just using the default "ACTION_VIDEO_CAPTURE" intent. The fatal problem with all of these is that the default video capture intent doesn't fulfill requirement 3. It always prompts to save the video.
