While I have enjoyed this phone, I think it's time to move on. Can anyone tell me what would be a good upgrade? Not looking to spend more than $200 for it. So far, the HTC Desire 816 Android seems to be the go to phone. I'm on Sprint prepaid btw.

I wouldn't recommend HTC. Their phones don't have removable batteries, and they're crappy ones at that. They also seem to be inconvenient to root. The Droid DNA requires Sunshine to root.
I would suggest something LG personally. I just got a G3 and don't regret it despite having trouble getting it rooted (Boost variant seems to be the only one with this problem). G2 is probably around $200 by now.
Otherwise, my next pick would be something Samsung.

I would suggest the htc 626,avoid the galaxy j3. Samsung has went to the extreme to make rooting difficult. and the phone battery drains at an unbelievable rate. i just took mine off an all night charge about 20 minutes ago and its already lost 4% battery. Ridiculous.

Ebay had a deal a few days ago on a zte warp elite for $99 with a PayPal code that took $15 off. They haven't been able to root it yet, but there working on it.
