Hi, I can't see much difference up to now, it's certainly no great forward! Phil
Perhaps not ground-breaking,but,I bet the battery life will be greatly improved.
I'm still waiting on T-Mobile here, but,on the Note5,that Doze from MM really did the trick,screen-off battery drain went from downright awful to virtually non-existent.
Per app permission management is a win also, especially for non-root users, who lacked this option previously.

Had mine updated yesterday on the Vodafone network. Everything ok so far except I have to put in my password instead of my fingerprint when I switch off and then on again. Did not have to do that before...

You do need to use your password to start with but the fingerprint recognition data is retained and you can continue as before.

Just a warning to those updating....
I updated my phone to 6.01 without any issues at all but I usually do a factory reset with a major update, so yesterday was the day to do it.

I did the factory reset via the power/home/ vol up buttons and wiped the cache also, phone started fine and I started the long process of the setup, I only got a few menus in when it said that the phone had not had a normal reset and the reactivation lock kicked in and asked for my Samsung account login details, which I entered, but it would not accept this and kept saying 'process failed' (lots of stories on this subject on Google search)
After a lot of tries and Google searches and a telephone chat to Samsung customer services (who said their accounts dept were closed for the weekend) I was stuck!

My last resort was to flash back to Android 5.1.1 via Odin so that is what I did, it asked for reactivation lock info as before and all went as it should, I then went through the OTA updates available until I got to the Marshmallow update, before I did this I went into settings and disabled reactivation lock, then installed the marshmallow update and all went well.

Just a warning that maybe you should disable the reactivation lock before doing the update to marshmallow to avoid this happening, it may work fine for most but it's a nightmare if it happens to you and most haven't used Odin to re-flash their phone.

Edit; just realised the last part of my post was a bit hard to understand so I've edited it, so far I think the 6.01 update is pretty snappy, faster out of standby and slightly better battery. You do have to enter your password after a reboot if you have set fingerprint to unlock but that is no big deal. As others have said the image clip function is now part of smart select (using the lasso tab) it does state this when you use you S pen for the first time after the update (easy to miss when you're setting the phone up)
