I had the ZTE warp elite for boost mobile and I bought the LG g stylo thinking it would be better. WRONG! Phone is slow and takes forever to do anything. I went back and got a different stylo the next day and had the same problems... Texts not sending. Etc... So today I went and turned my warp elite back on. The LG g stylo was a horrible experience. It sucks because I liked the phone

This phone is great on Tmobile/metroPc. Boost mobile/Sprint version blows. Probably because they gave yall 1 GB Ram, we got 2 GB. Also provided you with a crappy Cam 8MB. We got 13 MB. I'd feel ripped off and mad like this post as well. Stick with Tmobile/Metro people. All the other providers try nickel and dime you.

Sorry, but the Boost version of the Stylo is garbage. Poor specs compared to the T-Mobile/MetroPcs version. They stripped it down and put in a poor camera. I've never seen such a huge difference in carrier versions of the same phone.

Also, the texting issue is Boost. Their SMS service is terrible. I had it for 6 months. Never again.

Carrier is everything. The other sprint carriers have ruined it by using its rep to sell phones. It was used up so bad that tmo carriers made production runs using sub standard hardware versions. Its all a toss of the dice. If you find a device you like stick with it as long as you can. That way the carriers are stuck with the junk instead of the end users and this will drive the prices down.

Newsflash: the stylo isn't that great period. Any variant. I have the metro/tmo version and i had to send two phones back right away for manufacturer defects.

Its a 150 dollar phone. Lg slapped them together and it shows.

Im not sure why you made a post just to complain but here's some advice: boost sucks. Go to a gsm carrier. There will be more phones to choose from.
If you want something that doesn't suck....do what i plan to do: get a flagship.

More specifically I'm holding out to see if Google releases a new nexus phone this year cuz if so I'm on that

Btw we did kind of get ripped off. I bought an lg motion back in 2012 for 50 dollars and it kicked ass for the Money spent in comparison to this device.

I should've known right away when it was available on various carriers and that there were various versions of the same Device that most likely it was going to be a mess of a phone. They usually are.

This phone really sucks for real... Especially the camera it's terrible... I have the t-mobile version

The camera isnt the best but ive had worse. I wish we could've had a gyroscope though. Then we could take advantage of some of the unique photo modes like photosphere on the google camera app.

I use it all the time on my nexus 7 2013.

Bro I remember when I had my lg motion too It was a little beast of a device. Shipped with 5gb of storage :0 at that time. I also remember when playful God use to develop on that phone it's had a lot of development :/

It's a budget phone not a flagship. For the price, it's a decent phone. Want better specs or performance, you have to pay more. The T-mobile/metro version works fine for me. I didn't expect a Nexus 6P, Samsung S7, LG G5, HTC 10 for under $150. The Boost version might as well be a Dollar General Tracfone.

I just feel ive had much cheaper phones or even phones at this price point that were superior to this given the year and what you got.

My biggest complaint is build quality honestly. I bought two originally and went through hell to get them to give me ones that didnt have a manufacterer defect...got 2 more. One is fine the second ive noticed has the ocassional screen flicker issue at high brightness.

With my carrier i have one year from original purchase date to return it for a defect. I bought it first in dec so i have plenty of time but the issue is minor usually and not worth the hassle of replacing when im likely to get something this fall/winter at the latest....probably nexus unless it turns out to be a dud.

Other phones ive paid much less for never gave me this many problems. But i dont complain about the performance when i have a model that works as intended.

It plays higher quality games without lag for me and thats a plus.

The motion was a great phone. Still a favorite. I accumulated 4 of them at one point. I blew the battery out on two of them (accidentially left them plugged in for too long and the batteries started to leak into the phone) and i still have the other 2.

I still power them up and use them on wifi from time to time. What did playfulgod do for the motion? I dont remember but all my motions had root recovery. Xposed. Busybox and one i flashed a custom rom but i forget what it was called. A rom based on jb..

Spending 50 on a phone in 2012 that got like 23k to 25k benchmark With Antutu is amazing. I played around With a newer phone released in Dec (2015) from metro that cost like 70 andit only got a 20k benchmark.

Pretty sad when a cheaper phone from 4years ago out does a current offering that costs more.

Youd think it would be the opposite as hardware gets cheaper over time. They must've not made much of anything with the motion.

I ran mine until metro said they wouldn't support the cdma network anymore.
