I've owned a number of phones and I think the metroPCS/T-Mobile version of the LG G Stylo is an unbelievable value. For under $150 you can buy a phone that has features not found on many flagship phones, features such as expandable memory via a microSD card, a removable battery, and NFC. It is 4G LTE enabled, has a 5.7” HD IPS display, a 13MP Laser Autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It uses a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor and has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and it supports calling over wi-fi. The phone has a built-in stylus, like the Samsung Note phones. It doesn’t include Samsung’s stylus software, but the stylus is perfect for making quick notes. I like the phone’s user interface and the ways in which it can be customized.

I'm probably being foolish but I'm moving on to an expensive flagship phone. I was enticed to pre-order an HTC 10 by the offer of $100 off and no interest financing . I love the HTC 10 but it's in a whole different class and much more expensive than the LG G Stylo. The metroPCS/T-Mobile version of the LG G Stylo is a very good phone at a bargain basement price.

The new Nexus devices will probably be an improvement but, at my age, if I waited for the next great thing it could be too late. I'm happy with the HTC 10.
