Do anybody have any knowledge on using Z4root rooting application on Android Devices 5.1.1 build ?
I was told by one of my egg heads comrades that they have used Z4root 1.3.0 to root a Huawei Honor 5.1.1 and it rooted successfully.
Any information about this process would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing I can find supports that.

Z4root is about 5 years old, designed for much older versions of Android and I believe the exploit it used to gain root was patched in later versions of Gingerbread (2.3).

I wouldn't recommend gvmg it a go and of you did, I'd be really surprised if it works.

if it successfully rooted then what is your question? You can now install apps that require root...and whatever else you would like. Usually you have a reason to root (like wanting to delete the bloatware preinstalled apps from your device or something like that), but root is unnecessary unless you want something specific (usually)

Do I have to repeat my question for you to understand? I was told by one of my egg head comrades that they used Z4root on Android 5.1.1 build and it rooted successfully. Meaning I didn't see the device that was rooted, I was just told that it worked. In layman's term, was this bullshit that was told me. That's why I asked didn't anyone know about that or not?

I read what you said incorrectly and thought it had worked for you and that you didnt know what to do next. I apologize.

Not having that device, the best I can say is check with Google. I ran a quick search and there were results to look at but I have no idea what (if any) will work for you. There appears to be a working TWRP for your device, so there is some hope atleast. How far you take it is up to you. If you have other questions dont be afraid to ask, as there are plenty of smart folks around the forums here. Good Luck :)

What kind of device was it? There are a lot of imports that come through already rooted, either to inject their own bloat, flash a custom ROM onto a no-brand device or simply shoddy development. It is entirely possible that the device was already rooted when your pal with the hard boiled cranium ran Z4root thinking that was what gave him root.

I was told he rooted the Huawei Honor 5.1.1.
I was a little excited to hear that the Z4root application worked on an updated version of Android because back in the day I had great success using Z4root on several devices with no bricking issues. But I forgot to factor in that the little turd was somewhat of a prankster that gave me this information. Now after finding out that there was no evidence of his so called findings. He has now graduated from being a little egg head prankster turd to bring a giant lying bastard.
