Then used Odin to push TWRP (I had to remove the .md5 extension from the op), then installed rom from sd card, selected not to install SuperSU, phone rebooted, went through half dozen boot sequence loops, then booted. Went back into recovery and installed gapps. Much smoother this install and was able to do it from Win 7 64-bit.

First boot always takes forever

No need for 3 wallpaper choppers, easier to just go to the pic you want and set it

all sounds have been removed, not needed

never had it do anything to any of my sd cards

My rom has been more stable then Slim

good job man but, may be i mwrong some thing, but after register new account with play market, it show authentication error, after google-ing i find next, https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-fix-google-play-authentication-is-required-error after clear cache is working. best regards.

eveything seems to work. I have not found any drastic problems (the speed is still as good as before)

P.S.: Nice boot animation, it's badass

yea it is to me. i mean i didnt have to go thru the lil things that i have wit this rom. so now ive tried the june 12th update and now supersu wont update. idk i follow the same procedure everytime to install and it boots fine(oh yeah i like the knight rider btw)and everything. its juz when i get to setting up my phone something goes wrong or it dont work.. i would run this rom everyday if i knew everything would work properly at once. thanks juz my opinion..

I'd suggest just stay with Slim Pickins . dont know the lil things you have to go through, out of the 500 people running this your the only that has had problems

i did a fresh install and SU updated fine

Does this work well on G360T? I know most people are using the G360T1, also is it possible for slimpickins to run on G360T? I am also rooted

Mine will run on both same phone different carrier. as far as slim i know nothing

You have the signature check selected in twrp. Disable that and it will install

And u know wut I will. At least wit slim I don't have to go back and reflash anything after I've installed. Ur updates are off and it seems slim update a lot better. No supersu problems no contact problems or play store problems. I'm not downing ur with I've been an android user since blackberry and dude I've tested a lot of roms but neva had to go back and add stuff. Its already patched in. So do more research. I've 6 different phones to try any rom on. So thanks again for yall hard work.

these really sound like device-specific or user-level issues. i have had zero issues with this ROM. i dont know what you are "patching back in" but supersu works flawlessly for me. volume sounds work fine. i havent had to reinstall anything whatsoever. it actually runs better than stock. i dont think he is the one that needs to do more research.

Man wuteva dude. Ur not standing next to me when my phone crashes with this rom. So I did do more research and stuck wit slim no problems here..

You're right. Your phone is crashing. I'm saying it's likely your fault. I base that conclusion on the fact that no one else is having that problem. Your best bet is to ODIN flash stock ROM, bootloader, modem and recovery to restore your partitions and try again

most likely impossible because the system camera was replaced by open camera (personally I don't prefer it at all because you can't record on the front facing camera)

any idea if restoring stock cam is as simple as an apk or two? i figure the code is still in the OS and restoring that camera might restore the shortcut

Let me know if this works, Put it in the data\app folder and set permissions to 644 and reboot . open camrea can be deleted while in there

put the .jar in the system\framework

Everything Should be set to 644
