What is it? It's electrical and a part of something. Very popular in the '60s and '70s.
There's a ball, there's a plum-bob in there and a leaf-switch with a weight on it, so it's something intended to detect movement. It's not edible and it doesn't fly.
Yup, that's what it is. Thought of it, because I've always been quite interested in pinball machines, yet I know a lot of people who have never actually seen one, not for real. I do have Pinball Arcade on my phone.
Have never seen one before either, but made sense. I was, however previously aware of just how rude-and-crude some "electronic" devices of the pre-1970 era could be inside.....Charming in their "hand made-mass production" sensibilities!
Failed to think this through, however.....Now I have to contribute; Give me a day or two to come up with something, otherwise @Brian706 should feel free to submit something else, keep the thread moving
May I do a retro leap frog, post follow up image to my earlier answer, keep thread moving?
I'll post pic behind "spoiler", in case not cool. Tried to strike balance between too easy and too obscure, lo-brow and high-brow. Have several clues ready to go, if starts to drag on and stops being fun.
Was looking forward to dragging this out.....Teasing you, clue you to "get your mind out of the gutter, think outside of the box".....(both figuratively and literally, you sick little boy!)
But you are correct, it is a close up of (arguably) the most significant part of the da Vinci creation, and most significant part of her body; That little corner of her smile that says so much.
@Clementine_3; Well done. Give it a few days, see if you come up with something for us.
Hardly my place to wrestle control of another's thread.....but here goes, (for the moment)!
Clem_3, if something cool presents its self, lets for sure substitute it for the following, otherwise:
This one may be super easy, but when I learned (what little I know) about it years ago, I thought it was too cool for words.
Clues if it starts to drag.
