What do you mean by startup manager?

I use Tasker a lot. I have a Tasker profile that is invoked when I boot ,y phone. It starts sets all seven volume levels loads specific apps if needed at that time.

hi Thom

for example
there is a new device ,smartphone ,with a startup manager ,you can select wich application will start with the the phone when you turn on
in the same page there is permissions (android 6 ) and startup manager

look the autostart http://xiaomininja.com/2015/08/10/miui-tip-enable-autostart-to-never-miss-a-notification-again/
Android runs very different than a PC. Everything is held in RAM. Each app starts differently also. Use SD maid to find what apps are constantly running and not

hi i'm looking for something like that Startup Manager (Free)
can you give a look above the link?
thanks Danny

Why someone would use this app escapes me. Perhaps an Android device with very limited memory?

If you are using a modern Android phone running say Android 5 or 6 the technique would be to load the apps you are interested in. When not in use whey would be in the background. The dropdown display would show them. When you reloaded When you restart the phone they are loaded and continue running in the background.

If some of them do not restart on a reload you could have a simple Tasker profile that starts them each time you reload.
