Llama doesn't know where I am

I used to be a very heavy Llama user on my S2 and S4. If Llama didn't know where I was then I would simply ask my missus, as she always seemed to know where I was down to an accuracy of 1 metre!

But seriously, as good an app as Llama is unfortunately it is not being developed any more, and hasn't been for quite considerable time now. Therefore, you will find the odd hiccup as it was developed using up to JB API's I believe. One such example of somehing that wouldn't work on my rooted S4 on MM was that it could not turn Mobile Data off/on.

MacroDroid is a brilliant (and I would say far superior) alternative, and is in active development. The dev (Jamie) is extremely helpful, and even has a forum which he participates in regularly. MacroDroid worked perfectly on my S4 (including cell tower triggering), although I must admit, I've not put it on my S7 yet. Even so, its well worth a shot. Its free to use, but you can only create around 4 or 5 macros. I paid up for the full version pretty quickly which allows you to create any number. On my S4 I had about 30 macros running.

Thanks for this. I uninstalled Llama and installed this program and like it so far. Even paid the money for no ads.

One thing though this doesn't have that Llama does which I miss is the ability to set certain contacts for custom volumes. Like I have an macro set up for 10pm to 6am to set my volume to low and run a clock program so I do not get disturbed while sleeping and to have my clock program run without me having to open it. In Llama I could set ring volumes custom per contact. Like if my parents wanted to get a hold of me at 3am if they called me my ring volume would be super loud. But if someone else called me like a friend or someone not on my contact book, it would be low volume.
