Root [Boost Mobile] Working ROMS/MODS/KERNELS/MODEMS/ECT for the Boost S3

Oh and one more probably more important question. This maybe belongs in its own tread. Sorry moderators.
Neither my phones storage, or the SD card has the typical file system on it. Like I don't have Android Secure anywhere, or the DCIM file for the pictures. I'm assuming because I bypassed a normal install for ODIN to fix my plunder earlier. How do I get them formatted? Sorry to be a bother and spam up the board, but there is only one place for help, and that's amidst you supper heros!
AndroidSecure is hidden in KitKat. Dcim should be there in storage/extSdCard/ and also storage/emulated/0 or data/media.
There are many paths.

Once again I'm humbled and proven naive again. So I purchased a SG3 because it had the biggest support system from all you guys. Also, lots of people from the Transform Ultra came to this phone. But, because I got the Triband my choice of Roms went from a dozen or so to ONE! Is that correct? The set up I have now is working great. DCIM did show up, and Android Secure must be there, but when you say "hidden" you mean even from Root Explorer? TRWP also warns me I don't have a busybox. Could you help me with this one last thing. I'll stop being a pester I promise. What is Triband anyway? Is it an newer thing/good, or should I return this thing and get the one everyone has?

What happened to the donate buttons/links here? I'd love to buy the kings of Android Forums a beer for their troubles. Thanks.

The triband works on sprints spark network. It uses all three lte bands at once. It's actually a better "refreshed" version. But not many devs have built for it because the s3 is pushing 3yrs old now.
You can use any of the touchwiz roms I believe, you just need the right kernel. But the cm and aosp roms are limited for you. I believe liquidsmooth also has a triband build, but it just says boost, or spark version. If you want more roms you'll need the regular s3, but they are hard to find. You can use the regular roms if you know how to symlink the proper modem-firmware images. You can use a root explorer to delete the wrong symlinks and link the correct ones. It's not "super" difficult, but it takes a little know how.

P.S. you can get busybox from the play store. Busybox installer by stericson.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that there is a Stagefright update zip posted by Pharmdeon in the Wicked-X thread over at XDA for the SPH-L710. It's already been confirmed to work on Wicked-X, Wicked S5, Tribute, and I can confirm it works on rooted stock NDC since that's what I'm using. It fixes all but 1 of the Stagefright vulnerabilities.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2750674&page=782

I flashed it with Philz, wiped cache, dalvik, rebooted, and it worked.

Boost has begun pushing an update for the original SPH-L710. L710VPUCOJ1. A friend got it today. It's 75mb and said Stagefright fixes.

It sure would be nice to find a TAR.

edit: I snagged the update.zip from my phone's cache directory so I added a link to this post. Obviously you can't be rooted to install it but maybe someone can take the stagefright libraries out of it and make a flashable zip to update them like someone did for OH1?
