I spent 57:53 minutes on the phone with Samsung yesterday registering for my "Gift". Best Buy is fulfilling the memory card or Gear Fit on the spot. Remind me to be more patient please...
I'm hoping the Gear Fit 2 comes fast. All anyone wants is the 256gb card. I dont know why. What in the world do people do to fill up such a card. Like I said before I've never even needed more than what was internal memory lol.
When I bought my Pentium 75MHz back in 1994 people were like, "16 MB of memory? What in the hell are you going to do with that much memory?". When I traveled for a living, a 2 hour flight was much more tolerable with a few Breaking Bad episodes and some headphones. From what I've heard, people that buy smartwatches tend to hang em up after about a year. I figure I can always use memory in just about any form factor.
I should tell Amazon that I received the card as a gift and see if I can return it for credit. I'm sure I can find something I want for $300 from Amazon.....
I have 3 128 GB micro SD cards, 5 64 micro GB SD cards, and a couple of 32 GB micro SD cards (Will spare you the details on all the USB memory cards I have). If I didn't already have a smartwatch, I probably would've got the pseudo-smartwatch that was being offered. I probably wouldn't have bought so many SD cards, but the 128 GBs were on sale at Newegg around Feb for about $30.00. It was too good a deal to pass up.

That was the problem..I was out of phones that had SD capabilities. Well the S4 and the S2 but I don't use the S4 for nothing but a music player for my car. Oh yeah..my Note 4 but I can't find my two 64gb cards I bought for that. And My Note 5 was my daily driver..got a WHOLE BUNCH of 8gb and 16gb usb flash sticks...which is of course is great for the USB connector with the Note 7 now. But this should put me in a good spot with such memory..I can download anything and everything..I get lightning fast torrent speeds...gets to 7mb on all bars and I can upload at 3mb too. So It's practically back to the Note 4 dayss of me using 100 gbs of data a week like I used to.

Careful if you have Verizon. I hear they're targeting power users on their unlimited plans. I'm one of those users myself. I thought for sure that my 150 GB a month usage was going to get my account cancelled, but surprising to me, I'm not one of their power users (even at 150 GB a month!) What I did start to wonder though, if I'm financing this phone for 24 months, and Verizon decides to cancel my account, am I obligated to pay the remaining balance on a phone that's worthless to me without network connectivity? If Verizon does cancel my unlimited account and forces me to continue to make monthly payments on the phone, I'm going to be PIIIIIIISSSSSSEEEDDD!
I thought about getting on T-Mobile, but was told that they do what's known as selective throttling where they tell you that if you're a high user, they throttle you to "optimize" their data. I also didn't like that they only give you 15 GB of data for tethering. I figure if it's truly unlimited, they should let you do whatever you want, which includes tethering. But I digress, if Verizon wants to cancel my unlimited data plan, I'm immediately switching to TMobile.
Just received my watch today too. It's on the charger getting juiced up before I start playing with it. I was slightly interested in the whole smart/fitness watch thing, but couldn't commit on the price. Getting it for free is a sweet way to be able to try it out.
Well I received my free gift an hour ago. Haven't played with it yet. I set it to charge. Took pictures tho. Haha.
I've never tried one of these type or gear fit/watches out. It'll be interesting to have one. And last picture shows it on my wrist. I chose large because man hands. And it fits fine around my wrist.
