I got my ZMAX PRO the day it was released (8/1) and registered on the ZTE website 8/5 (received Email verification on 8/5 too) & still nothing. I got this phone (in part) because of the free GENUINE leather case. Of course only after purchasing did I realize that you had to wait and have it shipped (4-6 weeks). And actually the METRO PCS store hadn't a clue as to how to claim the free case that it advertised; I had to manually search the internet to find the form to submit to ZTE to actually get it. So anyway, just anout 4 weeks now ive been waiting and still nada, zip, nothing.

If it's anything at all like my born tech genuine leather folio case, it's not at all worth the wait. /sigh Think I am going to send it back to AMZ.... a rare thing for me.

I didn't even realize until now that the free folio case is a folding case. Hate those. Now that I know it's a folding case I can care less if it comes or doesn't.

I just got both of my free phone cases by FedEx. I got mine directly from ZTE.

I like it a lot. I prefer the thinner wallet style cases over the bulky ones. Also opening this case automatically turns on the phone when you open it, I know some other cases don't do that.

Nice! I don't normally go for folio cases but, hey, free case right? With a CC pocket too, that'll be handy as I only carry license + CC besides keys + phone. I'll have to keep an eye out at home for delivery. Did you get any notification ahead of time that it was coming or did it just suddenly how up? What date did you register for it?

Just suddenly showed up. No notification, no email, nothing.

I bought my Pro on July 30th and I registered it on their website on the August 5th which was about 12 hours after I got the actual email telling me where to redeem the damn case (I wish they were more clear about that, I had no idea what to do after buying my phone and the Metro guys had no clue).

Mine was waiting for me when I got home from work, FedEx left it on the doorstep per usual. I don't usually go for folio cases but it's pretty nice feeling. I like the texture of the plastic part that snaps onto the phone, wish ZTE made a slim case that was just that part all the way around without the folio attached.

Got mine today. Took 4 weeks. By the way I thought I've read somewhere in another thread that this case turns the phone on when you open it. How does that work?

Just close it and open it. Its sends a magnetic value to the device. It doesnt work while powered off though only waking from sleep

Received yesterday.
Small scratch inside.
Expected room for more than ONE card.
Also imagined brown, not black color.

I'll give it a try... Since I don't want a protector for this phone - would make things too bulky + drag n drop pocket contents too easily.
