I have the P9 EVA-AL10 in the US working on AT&T. I have the Chinese model and I've managed to get it mostly in English and functional. I'm having a couple issues and would love to know if anyone knows how to fix them:
1. I am able to sync my Hotmail account (added as a corporate exchange account) with Huawei contacts and it was working fine until yesterday when the contacts got corrupted after a sync and suddenly there hundreds of contacts with no names or phone number or emails. Now when I remove the account and reconfigure it, the Huawei contacts app syncs with Hotmail once and it is fine until the next sync when the same corruption happens again. I have deleted the account and reconfigured it several times and the same thing keeps happening.
2. I have been having issues getting my gmail contacts to sync with the contacts app. I've removed the accounts and tried to re-add them several times. Once I was able to get my business gmail to add and sync contacts but I removed it because I was having issues and emailing with a gmail tech and now I am unable to add my corporate gmail account. It appears that if I add an account as a corporate exchange account, the Huawei contacts app will sync contacts. However, if I add a gmail account then the contacts will not sync with Huawei contacts. This makes no sense on an Android phone??
