Why Can't Apple Users See Samsung Users Pics??

Every time my friends send me a pic via email I can see it just fine. However, when I send them pics they can never open/view it. Why is that???

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy tablet and they are using iPhones. I'm guessing it has to do with cross-platform incompatibilities - but I would think if I could see theirs, they could see mine too. Guess not. If Samsung made it so that we can view Apple users' pics, why doesn't Apple make it so they can view non-Apple users' pics?

dunno why you can't.

my son has had two iPhones in the last year.
one 2 years old, the last is a month old.... the old one suffered a physical trauma.

I have used both a Samsung S5 and a Note 4, and we send pictures back and forth via email and SMS.
Hmm...odd. I know I'm not the only person having this issue because a few of my friends who use iPhones said they can't see other people's pics who use Samsung devices either...so I know it's not just mine. Strange!

Does size of image make a difference? Do they receive the MMS at all?

It's not an intrinsic problem between Android and iPhone. I rarely use MMS (once or twice a year), but when I do I can exchange them with iPhone users no problem. What message app are you using?
I'm not even sure what all that MMS/SMS is...my mobile device is not a phone...it's a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

Then what app are you using to send these pictures?

MMS is sending pictures via text message, but that only applies if you have a phone connection (Internet messaging apps are completely different things).
I'm sending them via email...just like everyone else does. Open email, attach pic from Gallery, and send. Yes, I have Internet connection when I do this...they can see my email text but not the pics.

Ok, that is plain weird! Is it that they cannot read the attachment or that they don't receive the attachment at all? What if they read the mail via a computer rather than a phone? That would tell us where the problem is (if it can't be read on a computer it's the Samsung, if it can it's the iPhone).

Hi! Yes theY can see my piCs sent from my Samsung tablet on their Apple computers but not their iPhones. What does this mean?

It sounds like the software on the iPhone has some limitation or isn't sticking to standards somewhere. But you'll never convince them that the iPhone software is wrong. ;)

Actually you didn't answer the question of whether they see the attachment and can't read it or don't see the attachment when using the iPhone.

It probably means that Apple is trying to coerce you to buy Apple products.
I have a MacBook Air... Isn't that enough for Apple?! Lol

Sorry I must have overlooked that part. They can read/see my text/font but they can't see the images attached. They said it says "pic removed" or something like that.

i have simple answer - competition between manufacturers and application portability

I try to make it a point that all images are either .jpeg or .png

anything else is a pig's poke, you don't know what the other guy has.
Ok this is really strange! I sent a pic to my mother...she could see the attached pic just fine (even though for some odd reason it was upside down lol no biggie)...BUT...I sent the SAME pic to my father and he couldn't see it at all (he said it said "pic removed")...AND...they BOTH have the SAME exact iPhone!!! WTH???
