I got it today as well. I'll go back to stock and flash the update. I'll check for root access and that's about it. I'll pet you guys know in less that 12 hours(Ill upload the zip+ a radio.zip is in there too idk why)

I think they just updated the security patch.
Trying to root as of now.
Okay guys Root Confirmed! Nothing change as we have unlocked bootloader's(I'm on the metro variant) so simply following the guide on how to root T-Mobile 6.0 guide is still a valid way to go. I see no major differences.

Since we have systemless root all we need is to flash back the old clean boot.img and if applicable the stock recovery. I simply did this
I flashed the xposed uninstaller to get rid of xposed,
Made sure I had the update.zip in /cache
Flashed the unmodified boot via flashify
Went to the update page via settings and let it flash.

It might be the same update. I probably failed to install it before i rerooted. Even though im pretty sure i did. But if that aint the case, i installed it and still no problems with root. Changes i have noticed is that when tethering, some websites load in mobile version on the Pc.

Anybody use LG Bridge method?
I guess I have too many apps?? Have not gotten the OTA
I tried LG Bridge and it starts to do the update but then says not enough memory and stops the update.

I know I should probably know this method, but where does the update download to? /Cache or internal memory?

Zim, I don't know. I was messing around with it late last night. I've never used LG Bridge. It seems like it should work smoothly but no real info on required memory on the phone.

The weird thing is your stock unrooted so I'm guessing it's onto your internal memory, clear some apps?

I'm wondering this myself. Is it worth it to upgrade from 5.1.1? Any potential issues with apps/etc.?

Nothing much changes, some small visual changes and video calling, plus updated security patch

The OTA finally showed up. I updated without deleting any apps lol.
In this latest update (20g), I saw some updates to the LG apps. Messaging app had Advanced messaging back and it was a different version of the app. Also, I think LG Backup was changed. I wish there was a changelog somewhere
