What is this?

Wikipedia: The original round was a hand-made hollow point bullet filled with No. 12 birdshot (0.05") with a flat polymer cap.[1][2] To improve ballistic performance, a polymer-tipped round ball was introduced in 1987, and the current compressed core form was first sold in 1988. The formulation of the polymer was also changed in 1994 to improve fragmentation reliability.[3]

Ahhhh....
See, my questions on glaser slugs unfortunately came before went to page; Post might sound less foolish if you knew that.....I thought "slug" in this case meant 12Ga S.G. nonmetallic round, in a smooth bore, open choke. My bad.:oops:

They seem like (yet distinctly different from) specialty rounds I remember from years ago, but also have no experience with. I saw .22 LR, (but likely other patterns available?) (Plastic ?) case and ''nose", none of which intended to be the projectile; Just packaged the itty bitty balls, like shown in Glaser round.
Turn your .22 into a mini SG?
For snake, rat, pest control?

I don't like it. Too much power. Didn't watch the video but just from looking I'd say that's a criminal round. The idea is to wound and incapacitate, not shred.

Yes it is somewhat scary but the ingenuity that went into making it is something else :)

I must admit pretty clever! Yes who ever got shot with this would more than likely die shortly if hit in a vital area like a major artery as it would just tear everythign apart.

Pretty cool though.

I sometimes agree with killing humanity - it's no good!

I sometimes feel for mass murders (kind of) in a way... humanity is bad news...
