I was seriously considering the new Pixel phone until I realized there is no SD card slot. Why would google not include that feature. Seems like they are not paying attention to what the consumer wants. Samsung and Motorola both ditched the SD card slot at one point and ended up having to bring it back. Google has made a grave error with this omission

I, too, Am seriously considering the Pixel XL 128g unit. I believe that, for now, this size will be sufficient until Google comes out with its' sd card slot, if ever.

To access the battery on most non replaceable battery phones it takes a specialized screwdriver set and a butter knife and some caution and care its seriously pretty easy screen replacement in the other hand difficult

Dealing with screws is an easy part, the problem is that most of modern phones use glue during assembly process, you could crack or bend something while trying to beat the glue.
