I have Chinese tablet Skypro Q88 Carton Tab and the battery was like balloon. So,I remove the battery and I modified all component tablet to desktop. But I want to make my tablet operate without battery like desktop.I want charger as main electric source.

I have open website and find answers:
1.Using charger.Cut the wire and soldier on battery wire but not working because overload voltage which charger produce 5V.

2.Using capacitor.I saw it working on any devices but which capacitor? There are 2 types.

Sorry for my bad english.;)

Tablet open self when it power by charger.Like Raspberry PI,power by charger.

I'm no electrician, but I'd think you'd need detailed specs and wiring diagrams of the motherboard to know what proper mods to make...as you've discovered, these devices aren't really made to work without the battery as a go-between (I'm guessing that the over-charging circuitry (in the battery) is part of the protection package here to keep the motherboard from getting the wrong voltage, etc.).

Tread very carefully and safely here--surely a replacement battery would be more reliable solution?

edit: Welcome to AF, by the way! (just noticed and realized this was your first post; and your English was just fine :))

The short answer is no. These devices are designed to run on the battery with the external power being used for charging only and not to run the device. This setup cannot be easily or safely circumvented, certainly not by the average user.
So if the battery in your tablet is bad, your two options are to either replace the battery or replace the tablet. Maybe not what you want to hear but that's how it is.

It depends on the brand and the hardware design, some tablets (and phones) won't even bother to boot if your battery isn't installed and has at least 10% or so.
Yes, I think on most tablets, and certainly phones, the battery is the power supply to it, and the charging circuit is separated. No battery, and it just won't power up.

Laptops are different, and those usually will run quite happily without a battery on AC power only
