A month or so ago we discovered we had a mom cat with three kittens residing in our shed. The mother moved on and we had three wild kittens on our hands. My wife started feeding them and one became her friend. The other two moved on eventually but this one chose us for a family. Her name is Bella.

We have always been a family with dogs. We have two Shih-Tzus now. One of them is her best bud. They are inseparable. Bella and Romo

I'm a month in with having a kitty family member. It's been fun and interesting. I love my dogs, don't get me wrong, but cats are cool. I do have a question... is it common for cats to use the toilet to pee?
Bella has a litter box and religiously uses it for big business but she uses the toilet otherwise. It strikes me odd but perhaps this is natural. Nothing quite like having to wait for your turn behind the cat.o_O
