Damn. why aren't they there in andro.

Never mind, I answered my own question, with my own previous post.. so that's a fail.

You Got A Bad Unit.... I can game all day and no heat issues... and certainly no reboots.. :cool:

Owned the Stylo 2 Plus for 12 days before I switched to this.. you are going to love it.. especially rooted..

P.S.
But having owned both.. no doubt the Zmax Pro is still the better device.. and it's cheaper.. I'm also looking at the Blu Vivo XL which has also obtained root.. has a custom rom.. and more software tweaks bone stock. :cool:

Guess I got one too. Finally decommissioned my Zmax. Mrs. Couldn't take anymore. Got her a used mint LG G2 and she hates that thing too. Looks like she's getting a black Friday edition Stylo 2 plus.... Women...

I am helping here coz ZTE is turtle slow in updating to android N. Hope fully once this is rooted this will get the Android N update via root. Messi have you tried ES file explorer? I have put init on search icon there and all the rc files you are looking for is there. You can also read the build.prop in es file explorer hope it helps you. You can also read the default.prop there.

Yesterday I tried using ES File Explorer to copy the init files but the task failed. I can see them in different file explorers but can't copy them.

Is there an Es file explorer that runs on windows and try copy command there? When I click an rc file in the more tab there are a lot of options can it help dissect that rc file from options there?

I also tried to turn on root explorer there is an error can't run on device.

You can't turn on root explorer in ES File Explorer because that option requires root first. I tried looking at my phone's files just now while hooked up to a PC but the root file system wasn't visible.

I just emailed VUSec, the company that brought the RowHAMMER exploit to the light, the security patch on the MetroPCS version doesn't patch the exploit, perhaps they can shed some light or aid us in the quest for root.
