A question for Verizon V20 users

Just took advantage of Verizons buy one get one half off deal. I bought a Pixel XL and got hubby the V20. Worked out to be half of what he owes on the phone he has.
Since I ordered the phone from Verizon, the only way I could afford it, I wanted to know from those who also bought theirs from Verizon how bad is the bloatwear? What do they add and can it be deleted or is it going to just drown in added apps like the Note series?

not as bad as it used to be - I guess it varies. I do like to point out a good bit of the bloat on samsung devices was also due to samsung.

anywho - better bit is that some of the stuff can be straight away deleted - mostly the added games. NFL mobile went away and a few others. The red - VZ branded stuff is there to stay. but you don't have to live with the VZ messages app. It's there and on by default but it can be changed over. just not deleted.

Bigger stickler that I've found - VZ turned off the LG my places system that works with the LG Smart Settings app. That is also hidden. Smart settings was LG's light duty version of tasker or moto smart settings which allowed automatic turn off of wifi when you leave the house, or auto turn on of BT when you get in your car. And other automation options.

Otherwise it's mostly a simple LG V20.

This phones a power house. And it in fact does have an extremely light amount of BLOAT.

Bloat isn't too bad. But you definitely want to disable DT Ignite, unless you like Verizon randomly installing new apps on your phone that you didnt ask for.
Go to:
Settings -> Application Manager -> (tap the 3 dots at the tip right) -> Show System -> DT Ignite -> Disable

Yeah, I'm surprised it's not a bigger deal. The app is hidden pretty deep in the settings, but I figured this would get a little more press. I saw it on AndroidCentral or AndroidAuthority or one of those sites.
