Well this is a very strange, nowhere have I searched or any video I have seen has a Led flashing light been mentioned but one person I spoke with says they have a red notification light that blinks when he gets a notification. Is he just talking trash or is there one in this phone that can be accessed? I really miss mine, the 2nd screen is nice but it does not hold a candle to the flashing LED.

No led notifications. For me that is a plus. I always hated those. I never noticed them in daylight and they were annoying as hell when sleeping. I know that they could be turned off but my wife would never do it. I used to get up in the middle of the night and flip my wife's phone face down, lol. Actually I still do at times.

See, I'm someone who likes having LED notifications, since I used to customize the colors for different people so when I was at work, I could see at a glance who had sent me a message and if I needed to check it sooner versus later.
I liked having the LED on the Note 7 (for the short time I had it... *sniff*), but have gotten used to the second screen and I think it's actually pretty useful. The LED is one of those things that, once you get used to is being gone, you don't really notice it being gone anymore.
jb4kats, whoever told you there's a flashing LED is either messing with you or just out-and-out lying to you. There's no LED. The second screen takes care of things.

Yeah I used to use the multi-color as well. First on my moto droid X - then razr - then note 3.

On the note 3 I had to use a third party app called Light Flow. which was a minor PITA.

Now with second screen - it tells me who called or texted - either by name or number. and e-mails come through with name of sender. I think, need to check that. I think there is some more customizations - Might we worth checked the V10 thread to see what others have done with theirs. I'm still learning it myself.

But over all I like it better. Now I do also have different tones for different people but only a few not everyone.
