Google Voice Number

I'm having problems with GV & Metro phone numbers. Sometimes when someone call me, I do not hear the phone ring from either number sometimes. If I restart the phone then both may ring, for a period then stop again. Sometimes I may feel the vibration and get notified of miss calls, that is how I know it didn't ring.

Is anyone else having this issue? I wonder if having the GV number conflicting with Metro number? I had the same setup on my old phone, Motorola Moto G (first gen) and didn't have this issue. I've had the Zmax Pro since October.

It *may* be a GV issue. Last week I got a few calls to my GV that went right to VM, phone never rang. I normally don't have a problem but sure did for a few days there. I'm on Verizon with a Moto X Pure and may not have helped at all but there you have it

Thanks for the info. I'm beginning to think it could be GV, which is my main number. After next month, I can get my phone unlocked and I'm going to switch the GV number as my main number and see how it works. I'll probably siwtch carriers also.

I started using the Hangouts app instead of the Google Voice app. It fixed my problems. I have the ringer set to silent but keep the Hangouts ringer on since i don't use my carrier number.

Also, the Hangouts Dialer is good but will call over internet data so I use Voice+ to catch calls made from the Phone app and call me back on GV.
