Root Resurrection Remix

I installed it, every thing works so far, but i don't like that i can't install lucky patcher. When i try, i get a toast that says 'anti-piracy software activated'... I've searched for some kind of setting or something related to it and i can't find anything, it's really pissing me off...

Any ideas?

Any and all info is greatly appreciated...

found this. im not sure if this would work on our phones but its worth a try.

Wow, @Tigger69, did you look at this? All these sound mods are rolled into one zip? Really? Do you use this one @ravenslight? Just Atmos or Viper alone is incredible. Is this not some kind of overkill or something? Pretty tempting.....

I've been using a couple weeks now, sounds good, only issue I've hit n it don't bother me is when I have headphones in and receive a notification, it goes through he phone speaker instead of headphones

Well, I came back to RR from BrokenOS yesterday, but I'd rather not Xpose my reasons... Lol. It's like hanging out with an old friend. This and PAC are the only 2 Zmax 5.1 ROMs that I have nothing but fond memories of. Anyway, while using this ROM in the past, there were a few apks that just wouldn't install ("App not installed" message). The same apks that wouldn't install on RR also wouldn't install on BrokenOS, but I learned why on BrokenOS. You have to select "Internal" as the install location in the Settings/Apps/Menu, which is set to "Let System Decide" by default. I looked around in RR yesterday but couldn't find an equivalent setting anywhere. It may be somewhere, but I sure couldn't find it. If you want to install an apk that just won't install on RR (Anti-piracy blocked apps excluded), just eject your SD Card, install it, then push the SD tray back in. If anyone knows where the setting is, please fill me in.

Ha....I miss jellybean cm10 themes.... I didn't have cm10... But, the xposed themes for jellybean had some depth....
They were at least trying to be more than one dimensional.....
The minimal/material look is cool.... And I'm not mentally equipped to theme....

But, why does everything have to be flat?
It makes go launcher themes look like.. Van Gogh paintings.....
(That beg for money after you hang em)

I've never themed with xposed before....(I mainly use it for functional tweaks), but I'm going to now because I really got used to the dark layers stuff. That's mainly why I came back to RR. Because it seems to me to be the toughest of our ROMs. Can you recommend any cool theming modules? I'm really not sure where to start. Must be a couple thousand damned theming modules..! Lol

@CYCONUMNUM, I said the same thing at first. I was even trying to get the CM Theme Engine to install on Broken. I tried a couple of Layers Themes that camouflaged the text so you couldn't even see it to read it.... I thought Layers sucked bad cuz I'm not really into theming like some people are. I also was trying new themes, not realizing I should uninstall the old overlays in the "Uninstall" section of the Layers Manager. But once I learned to use it, I got my stuff looking really cool. Try out Midnight Layers Theme, if you like a blacked out look. That's a good place to start. Another great one is Timberwolf to black out your hangouts and Google+. The cool thing is, if you don't like the way it changed something, you can uninstall the overlay that was added to just that one thing and leave the rest that you do like, and then theme that one thing with a different theme. If you mess with it a bit, it may grow on you.... It did me.

Thanks for your posts throughout your ROM experiences. I never flashed RR until yesterday. I must say all mods have stuck and xposed has been solid. No bugs on this ROM. When I change my density to 220 ..I like the tablet look, the screen resizes as it should..the other LP ROMs I've tried doesn't display 100% correctly as this ROM does. The only reason I went back to LP was because of the best kernel made for the z970 is bankermod kernel vs3 ..CPU oc'd to 1.5 GHz and GPU oc'd to 650 MHz. The MM ROMs GPU max is 450mhz...in real time the bankermod kernel out performs the other kernels..including cm12 ,cm13,brokenOS..
Especially in Gaming and Multitasking...

Since Google now isn't working properly and the other features on MM were doze ,multi window, the ability to download 6.0 apps due to api 23 ..also the lte stays on while on wifi. All other changes were minor so ..RR it is for now..

I love the speed and fluidity of this custom firmware!!
Me too. I'm still using it. Thanx for the thanx.

+Red Tardis from G+ told me about a workaround fix for the Settings>About Phone>Status bug. It's called QuickShortcutMaker from Playstore. You open it and search for Sim Status and select the Settings one that says SIM status. It puts an icon on your home screen that opens the About Phone>Status section that crashes from Settings. With that, this ROM is virtually bug free... Yay! LONG LIVE ZMAX RR!!
