How do I delete my account?

Hi there ,

By account i understand your gmail account, for that follow the below steps

Open the Settings menu on your device.
Under "Accounts," touch the name of the account you want to remove.
If you're using a Google account, touch Google and then the account. ...
Touch the Menu icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Touch Remove account.

And to delete your google account

Head to google > Select your account> scroll down and there you are gonna see the option to delete your account.

Remember that if you delete your Google account, all apps you purchased may be lost.

Most likely the User is talking about the Google Account because it is the Main Application for Androids...
As mentioned depending on your Carrier you would:

@ Home Screen > Drag down Quick Panel > Select Settings Icon > Go to Accounts > Select Which Google > Select Email > Select More > Remove Account

But the OP could be talking about their forum account, which would be a totally different question. And since (s)he hasn't posted since 2010 that's not impossible (we recently had a bunch of account deletion requests from members who had not used their accounts for years after some security services sent them notifications about a hack that had happened 3 years earlier - which says a lot about how reliable a service those people were providing!).
