V4A is a personal choice in EQ.. But going with a non Google Play Music player might be right first step, don't let gapps erase the original music player and compare..

You guys are awesome thanks for all the responses and help and tips. I well keep trying to find and answer. I don't have physical music files I stream my music thru Google Music so I can't use a different player I don't think. If I can please instruct me I will try it and report back. But again thanks for all the help Cheers!

Right on. Might be a good idea to get all your music files in a physical mp3 format and keep somewhere safe as a backup. Cuz, What'cha gonna do if the internet drops for whatever reason?? Just a thought.. [emoji41]

Edit: Driving thru a "dead zone" (no signal) will kill your streaming and drain your device considerably. Food for thought. [emoji89]

Please, this is the solution for the problem on music stop playing when screen goes off.
1. Download kernel auditor( if ur on brokenOs there is a similar app pre-installed, called broken kernel, bcos I have it pre-installed in Brk 6.0.1, big thanks to Dfuse06)
2. Open the app, press the top left corner for a list of options.
3. Select power and battery
4. Switch off the options shown in the image below.

You know I have install like 3-4 apps but i don't see the options you are asking me to change. Could you please guide me on what to install to change this settings. Once again thanks so much 4 all the help

here you go!, use this app, and follow the screen recording. If you are using greenify, put viper and music player on whitelist. If the "power and battery" option does not show in the app, make sure your on 5.1.1 or 6.0. Good luck

Yo man thanks for all the help but this happens when i try and open your APK man I have bad luck right it must be 2016. I downloaded directly to the phone i email and Google Drive no go

Okay I know it late guys my bad i due all my stuff late that way my niece and nephew don'y bother me lol. I was able to fix the issue the above screen shot and i Googled before i posted my bad sorry. I had to edit the apk and boom it installed and i was able to change said features and am testing now........And bam thanks it seemed to work you guys are awesome for reals! Thanks to Everyone, I don't wanna name just case i Forget to thank someone, and i don't wanna do that!!)

Everyone hare that makes these great Roms and helps with tricks and tips thanks so much Really. Let me know if there is every anything i can help with and i will do my best to help!!

Well with the death of Cyanogenmod, And now lineage os. I guess i will be moving to that?

Anyway i will upload the latest update and then that will finish cm12.1. I will make a modded one with viper 4 android and a few others.
However i will try to possibly do lineage 5.1.1, Have a nice day and weekend all.

I looked but can't find Lineage OS below 6.0..

okay so i keep getting this error: (there was a problem parsing the package). So I looked it up and found a video on YouTube and i downloaded an app: APK editor pro. Here is the link to the video I followed to a T and it worked thanks so much to everyone and this great place to ask and receive questions on our phones.

Bro whats happening with n for the zmax seem like dfuse06 did most of the work for ya take a look at his github see what u can do it would be nice to see it for the zmax I've had this phone since it came out from KitKat to marshmallow n would blow my mind lol

If Dfuse asked me to I would, he did all the work. And he said he was building it. We shall see, I would love to try android n. But I would need his permission first.

Hit him up on hangouts and find out lol if he does build n for the zmax most likely he won't release publicly I could be wrong he hates the zmax community that's why I say that like I said I could be wrong
