The only temporary fixes are 3rd party apps, or hook up your JBL speaker mod.After the Sept. update, the text, email, and incoming call sounds were screwed up. No notification sounds, and incoming calls were only heard after the third ring. What a bunch of crap. Motorola knows about the problem, but hasn't fixed it yet. If anyone here has found a temporary fix, please chime in. Thanks.
An FDR won't do any good. The low notification volumes level is built into the software that came via a security update. Motorola is aware and working on a fix, that's supposed to come out soon.Don't have the speaker mod. I've tried most of the volume boosters that are in the play store, but if you know of one that works, please tell me. Has anyone out there tried completely wiping the phone, and then reinstalling everything?
