LG L90 phone. I noticed twrp showing internal storage as 0mb

it says
Storage: sdcard (0 MB)

There is no external sd card plugged in.

I seem to be able to browse the system if i go to /data/media/0/....

But this 0mb is definitely not right.

TWRP log says E: unable to mount /sdcard during GUI startup
unable to mount storage.

I should add that I installed CM13 before, and now I reflashed to stock LG rom.
TWRP version 2.7.1.0

Are you encrypted? If so, that could be the issue.

I was encrypted when I was using cm13. Encrypted is the default mode for CM13, right?

And then I flashed the stock rom right over it. I think i may have skipped a few steps before flashing stock rom.
and now i just keep getting "unable to mount storage" errors in the log.

So how do i solve this encryption problem now that I am using the stock lollipop rom?

i was on cm13.

then i think i did a twrp wipe. Then used lg flash tools to restore stock rom.

Anyway, I did a complete wipe just now, checked every box to wipe, ignored the error.
reflashed stock rom once again, installed twrp 3.xxxx, and all seems to be ok again.
Twrp can see my 3.x gb of storage now.
no 0mb error
