Preventing from dailing international call

Just wonder whether there is an application that can preventing the user from "mistakenly" dialing international call. A real case is: One is called by a friend abroad. His phone shows up the incoming call number as "+xxxxxxxxxx". He then "mistakenly" calls his friend back by dialing the number "+xxxxxxxxxx" from the phone call log (without realizing his friend is currently abroad).

Thanks for your help in advance. :D

Check with your carrier, they might be able to bar international calling.
From my knowledge of setting up corporate owned wireless devices, it is possible for carrier to block International calling.

My suggestion is to contact your wireless network provider, and ask them to add an International Call Block to your account.

Just be aware, that once you have International Call Blocking in place, you will be unable to dial out or receive calls from International numbers.

It's quite the opposite here in China, by default international calls and messages are barred, even to Hong Kong. And you have to prove yourself worthy to allowed international calls and messaging with China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom. I hear a lot of expats howling about it.

Completely understand...however here in the US, the Wireless Network providers like to have users spend as much possible, and International Calls are expensive.

I know about that from my new year's phone call to family.
