Hi, there are numerous apps available in play google stores. But when i try to install, it gives permission for free ads and also to acesss permission of unwanted things. I do not want any ad pop up and also i think i need not give access to unwanted access permission to the apps producer . Would you suggest , alreay available software for this purpose, as some of you would have already tried something. I used one such apps, and it asks me to download other items from play google stores without i ever asking, some apps pops up different kinds of online advertisement. please

If you want the most efficient charge you have to completely shut your phone down and plug it directly into a wall outlet. I don't see a reason why would would need an app for that.

I don't even know what kind of app you're looking for. If you want an app that has no ads, get the apps that you need to pay for. Free apps have ads. Paid apps have no ads.
Or so you think... I remember paying for a game once on the Google Play Store called Vector Full. The developer of the game uploaded a free version with ads and a paid version. Take a guess on what that paid version had... ADS! I literally thought about contacting Google about the whole situation in an attempt to get a refund and get the games taken down. That was 4 bucks I'll never get back.:mad::mad::mad:

Edit: I couldn't refund it on time because I bought this back in the good old days when the Google Refund Time Frame was 15 minutes.

"I'd rather pay that much for 5 six-second vine videos" - A small part of my accurate review of the game.

You can still refund it, depending on the dev. A lot of devs are easy to talk to. Some devs are willing to give refunds for 1 week. I once had a similar issue after first using the free version and subsequently upgrading to paid from the in app. The dev just sent me a promo code for free and told me to download the paid version directly.

I tried that the day I bought it, emailed the guy, only to get a response 2 days later from him saying "All purchases are final". I'm sitting in my office thinking 'God, such a piece of [trash]' (you know what I mean when I say trash...) I'm very convinced I need to contact Google about this, this is a very scummy thing for a dev to do. He basically offered us to pay for a free app, its ridiculous.

I do know that some developers allow users to do that, I did it about like 2 months ago with a game and the dev requesting a full refund on his game, responded about 30 minutes later with "Thank you for your request. Your refund will be finalized within 24-48 hours. Sorry the game didn't work out as planned for you." - That's a good developer right there!

hi, Thanks for all the replies. But no one has suggested the solution. The problem is ofcourse the device has auto management. But i also hear that too many charging without need , or after 100 percent reached is not safe. Manufacturer does not say anything about that charging phone beyond 100 does not pose a risk. It is for this purpose, that widget and applets have been designed by the developers. I still see no ads genuine free apps that helps to have user conveniences.

One, apps cannot affect how the device behaves with charging. This needs system level permissions that cannot be granted without root. Apps can't even fully access the battery log files without ADB bridge, let alone alter device behavior on charging. An app cannot stop charging or make your device charge faster. They cannot make the device safe or not safe when left alone. Those apps are bogus, and they only want to prey on unsuspecting people like you who'll believe all the lies they say, and earn money from the apps they post.

And leaving the phone plugged in even after the device reaches 100% is safe.

Battery charging should turn off when it reaches 100%.

As for permissions - have you found apps you want to use, but don't want to give them certain permissions?

If you have Android 6 Marshmallow or higher you can turn off app permissions for apps you don't want using them. Some apps might not work correctly with certain permissions disabled.

1. Go to Settings - Apps
2. Tap the app you want
3. Tap Permissions, then turn them on or off

Hi, Chanchan,
Read Your post. Do you mean to say that it will auto stop the charging when 100% is reached no matter whether we do not switch off the mobile. Is this correct. Would the device alert when low battery is reached. I do not mean just display , a kind of sound warning by the device itself. I only see some widgets are present, which does not give me what i want. For eg, i wish the app has time and day, date year on my home screen. But the widget my phone has nothing . Instead, it has weather and time without the day and year. Finally i searched for and found no ad genuine widget for it.
Expecting reply

Hi, Kate,
Some apps , i do not want to download because, it is asking for permission that is not connected with the working of apps or widgets. They include contacts, wifi details , wifi logs , self ads pop. Some alerts directly when you download. Some do not alert, but popup the message that it will be installed. I am new to smart phone era.So, I am asking. I could guess the ads part , as the developer , but permissions of accessing contacts , wifi connections, history. I do not see the reason.

1. Yes it will autostop charging. Once it reaches 100%. The device will say full charged.

2. I thought we are talking about battery charging apps? Now you're talking about time and date widgets. Clarify what you are trying to say.

I have given that as an example. Will it give sound if it reaches that full mark. Will it give sound if it reaches low. Can i give some other sound files if the sound is not that much?

Hi, Chanchan,
The problem is that there is no user manual readily attached with devices nowadays. So, i do get tips only from surfing the net. i did not see any widget. Then after surfing the net, i know that it is hidden and i have to press long at emply space in home screen.
