My Mate 8 was showing notification icons on the left hand side of notification bar. E.g. it showed a small facebook messenger icon in notification bar when there was some new message on facebook, a small whatsapp icon, if there is new whatsapp ap message. EMUI 4.0 was working at that time. Then I got an update for EMUI 5.0. after that it started to show numbers of notification. E.g. if I have one new message on facebook and one new message on whatsapp, then just a number appears. It says '2', meaning you have two new notications.
I liked that notification icons because without pulling notification panel you could know what apps got notifications. Can I go back to notification icons?
