@mkhtfld76 hmmm first you say that we are paranoid and every dev is trying hard to root this phone we might of been close, then your the first one to say that b14 is out hmm you sound fishy....lol just joking man...I think everyone tried everything will just leave it to the devs if they got something I'm sure they will say something low pro though.

Metro PCS here and I found the update in settings manually. 357 MB total but I'm on a motel wifi so it's gonna be slow.
Anyone have a list of improvements or features with this update or is it all stability junk in the update. 357mb is pretty big for just some tweaking here and there

Just curious if anyone went from b12 to b14. I tried without the sd inserted and it did the same thing...nothing. Also tried with oem bootloader setting on both settings...nada. Not really wanting to update at this point just curious as to why this phone wouldnt.

It won't be rooted. Not by me. Not by you. Not by anyone else. ZTE has already demonstrated just how much they don't want us to root the phone. Do you really want to try to get past them? How do we know there aren't other things they put in to prevent rooting? How do we know that rooting wouldn't brick the phone? These are the same people who completely ruined fastboot and the recovery, would you really put it past them?
Not worth the risk. To those who have rooted many other devices before by Moterola and other companies that don't want root will know what I am talking about.
But let's say we do get root. So what? You're one bad modification away from a bricked device - which has no recovery tools by the way. No way to fix any kind of brick. That sounds bad man, I don't want any of that.

Once downloaded, change the .Up to .Zip and move to root of sdcard, and flash.

Obviously this phone is hidding something big. They invest a lot of money on this and are not wonna allow us to root it....I have nothing to hide and don't care if they are spying me....

Huh? I'm uploading both files to my mega for my own keeping. If you use my instructions in my last post, you can boot into recovery and flash. If you move the file without renaming it to .Zip, you can use the sdcard update in settings to flash.
