Anyone upgrade to the b14

Well, I will never again install an SD card as internal memory. I moved what I could, formatted the card as portable, removed it, and downloaded and installed b14 without a hitch.

So far only thing I notice is that texting has been updated...Now it gives a 1,000 character SMS limit along with an emoji menu.

I just a benchmark test with Antutu and got 45,751 on the new update. Phone was steady in use for an hour straight and hot and also on charge and that was the final number.
Guys who haven't upgraded yet might want to run a B12 benchmark to get a baseline. I don't know why I didn't in the first place.
45767 on B08. I doubt ANY update will significantly change that though

One thing I've noticed on b14 is the default brightness when on auto brightness with the slider all the way down to the left, is brighter than it was before.... which would have been at the darkest level.
Also the brightness adjustment is smoother when transitioning.

I noticed this as well. The lowest brightness is still fairly bright.

Updated yesterday. Noticed a few things so far:

Flashlight button is more responsive, doesn't misfire.
The games I play aren't nearly as smooth- "Stack" is so choppy now it's basically unplayable. :(
My FoxFi hotspot setup is wacked out. Had it working for a minute, streaming YouTube on my laptop, but it messed up again. Haven't had the chance to tinker yet.
Battery seems to be the same charging, maybe burning power a tad bit faster today so far, it seems. Nothing major.
My web browser feels a bit snappier when surfing.

After a few days of use on B14, I'm starting to get disappointed again. The first day after update all was great.

Now that I've had many hours on here. I'm seeing some negatives. I haven't been using any apps or even updated any new apps this week. Just regular web browsing, facebook messenger, and gmail, stock messaging app. Just the 4 apps. I'm noticing regular web browsing and maybe switch to Gmail and back to web browsing; seems not much is staying in memory. Memory is definitely getting flushed way to quickly. I'm not seeing any difference in used and available RAM. Honestly with how it's acting it feels like a phone with a strong processor and like 1gb ram. So they might have changed OOP, and foreground and background app ram thresholds. I hope it's just me and maybe a bad app, but I have Greenify setup perfectly in my opinion. Can't find anything wasting etc resources even after messenger is inactive. Also I'm getting alot more Launcher redraws which I hate. So my first review of B14 was great now I'm not so happy. Makes me miss root even more running a custom kernel, tweaking CPU/governor settings to my liking. Honestly when I look back at let's say a normal 2014 phone compared to this one, I'm not wowed by the performance. Regular daily use I'm not seeing much difference in a quad core vs our 617 with equal RAM.

Anxious to hear what everyone else has experienced the last few days. I'm probably gonna boot to recovery and clear partition cache

Yeah I just saw on ZTE someone has a screenshot of update screen and they recommend you do this. I have not done this on recovery yet but I always clear my cache in storage.

What I have seen buggy so far is the WIFI calling. It only works fine for a day after the update. Now it comes on and off and just this morning has a status message telling me to register with my carrier WTF, no. LOL.

Ive been battling the wifi calling issue for a while. I was advised to check my E911 address and of course it was empty with no address inside the Metro app. When I go to a wifi area with no signal the same thing keeps popping up like you mentioned. Seems the metro app isn't saving the e911 wifi address longer than a few days. One day in the same home I have wifi calling, the next day I won't. I just can't see why they don't have more testing for bugs and whatnot.
