My FIRST EVER Launcher! Should I Go with Apex Launcher?

After extensive research, I am 99 percent decided on Apex Launcher (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher&hl=en). Do you think this is a good decision? God I really hope it doesn't mess up tablet. Lol A little nervous... Never installed a launcher before. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Go for it... have fun.. try it out... and if you don't like it you can uninstall it....

I've tried several launchers, Next, Go, Nova, TSF Shell, but I keep coming back to Next.
But, as @psionandy says, you no like it, just uninstall it

Let us know how you like Apex

Just curious, what did you like about Apex that made you go with it?

I can have multiple launchers installed and then choose the one to use in Settings/Home.

I stopped looking quite a while ago when I found Nova Launcher Prime. Configuration backup /restore to move the configuration to a new device is excellent.

Try them out and see what is best for you.

I'm answering your question even though you didn't ask me. I used LauncherPro for years. Over time, its updates became sporadic then nonexistent. I tried a bunch of the new ones and chose Apex because it behaved very similarly to LP. Better, actually, and still using Apex only.

If you really like it then go for it as I used Apex for a really long time before but Apex's last update was like 1.5 years ago. It have a twin sibling called Nova launcher and I really recommend that one over apex.

Just to be clear, "twin sibling" doesn't mean that Nova and Apex are related. They are entirely independent, but started life at about the same time as expansions of the same base Android launcher, and provided very similar functionality.

Thanks for all your replies! I uninstalled Apex Launcher after about 5 minutes lol I like TouchWiz better. I didn't realize I could change my icons and home screen without a custom launcher, but I found a great app that you can use any icon pack theme with TouchWiz, which I posted in my other thread if you're interested.
