Hey everyone. I am kinda new to the Zmax pro. I have changed many phone DPI in the past but for some reason when i go to change the DPI on the Zmax pro it does threw and is fine for like 20 mins then I lock my phone and walk away from it. I got back to it and unlock it and its stick in this weird screen with the metro pcs background and it just flashes it non stop, the only way i can get it to stop is to run the old dpi which is 480 and I am only changing the DPI maybe 20 or 40 and its does it every time. I like rooting phone but they haven't released a root for the Zmax so I just use the thing i use most which is dpi usually you don't need a rooted phone to do that but i was wondering if anyone has had this same problem and if they have how have they fixed it or got it to not do the whole screen thing. Thank you for reading and if you have any info thank you so much.

I am at 320 DPI and have a functioning stock lockscreen somehow. This is what worked for me. I disabled lockscreen then changed DPI to 320. I downloaded hi locker pro and set it up. I gave it all permissions and enabled in accessibility, then, in hi locker settings I set up fingerprint unlock. It forced me to set up a backup method of course, I set a pin and selected no notification on lockscreen. Upon turning on the phone I noticed that I had 2 lockscreens to unlock. So within hi locker I disabled hi locker but left it installed. I now have stock lockscreen at 320 DPI.

Hey guys I just wanted to thank all of you for the awesome advise it did work and has been working still adjusting to haveing a different lock screen but love that my phone is now 340 dpi lol. I have another question for you guys have any of you had a problem with when you lock your phone and then a few hours later the light at the bottom blink like it is on and you have a notification but when you go do unlock it and it doesnt respond? I had restart it and then everything works fine. I am no rough with my phones i have never dropped it. I was accually thinking about reformating my phone i read somewhere that it might be a anti virus program i had running on my phone. that made it so if wasnt responding. I unistalled the anti virus program and i havent had the problem since i unistalled it but i know the files for the program are still sitting in the storage of my phone. If you guys have any advise I would love to hear it and hope it worked thank you so much!

You can't use your plugin headphones when you set dpi below 420 I believe as well

Running Metro PCS on B20 update. Was having all the usual blinking issues with changing DPI and wasn't interested in going through the hassle of changing lockscreens and wasn't sure about how to do that with fingerprint. So..

I disabled lockscreen notifications as per jayare313- I really dont miss them. Then used Neoziggy's bat file to go to 410. Easy peasy. Thanks for all the help.

BTW Plug in Headphones work fine like this.
