Hi can you help me with the step of changing the brrowser to enter command lines?Solution for bootlooping to TWRP after OTA update
I've got 2 simple commands to ease everyone's troubled minds. The overwhelming sense of accomplishment you'll get knowing you can use your device again. Take a step back and appreciate this moment. All joking aside, here you go.
You now have two choices. Follow the directions below or download the zip and flash in TWRP.
http://androidforums.com/resources/twrp-bootloop-fix-zip.214/ & please leave a review there.
Start up Terminal Emulator from TWRP.
- Since its showing a file browser, hit the select button - bottom right, now you can enter command lines.
- Enter commands EXACTLY as shown (please read disclaimer below).
Hit enter (return)...wait, takes a few secondsCode:dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/fota
Now input this
Hit enter (return)...wait again.Code:dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/misc
When its complete, reboot.

Tested and verified numerous times by myself before release.
Also as a note, you may have to reactivate your device before using data or the phone.

The commands worked because your device has the same file locations called for in the commands as the LS660. The commands didn't change anything to the system to compromise completion of an OTA update. OTA's only fail from a few problems, the main one is that system files have either being changed (modified) or deleted. The commands only zeroes out a partition, not related to the file system.this command got my tablet out to TWRP recovery BUT I don't get the ota update anymore is there anyway to undo the command because I want to flash stock recovery and receive the ota update but whenever I check it say the system is up to date.
I have LG G pad 7.0 V410 At&t OS version 4.4.2
I know android 5.0 is available but this command did something to the system that I don't get ota anymore.
I did restore the os from backup, also did factory reset still not get any os update.
I need your help... thanks
Your don't enter the commands using a browser, you should be in recovery mode (TWRP). To get to recovery press (@ same time) PWR & -VOL until it says in white RECOVERY. From there follow the steps in the OP.Hi can you help me with the step of changing the brrowser to enter command lines?
