LG Aristo

i understand but im having trouble doing so, idk if something i have installed isn't right or what but its not working for me, when i do the volume down and plug in i get no devices/emulators, ive tried to google the fix for that but none seem to work

Been putting up drywall all day, sorry for laye reply. Something to mention is minimal adb&fastboot. A program for windows, just download it and install, from install location (folder) hold shift right click and launch cmd. Boom fully working adb and fastboot. If you have problems with drivers and you cant seem to get em rite, just launch a bootable version of linux, tons of tutorials for that out there.

I can confirm there is no problem with fully rooted aristo with twrp concerning lockscreen shortcuts. Tested rigorously, even after boot still shortcuts were added and deleted as i set them. And as far as early development the twrp is working perfectly and is fully themable. No side effects for rooting like losing camera or anything crazy

Oh, if any devs see this please take note we are in need of a custom kernel. Our phones minimum cpu frequencies are locked at 960mhz instead of the usual 300-450, killing the battery for no reason. I honestly plan to look into developing for the comunity in the near future, but in the meantime I turn to those passionate about android. :) from what i understand all that would be need done is uncompile and add frequencie lines then recompile. Would be amazing to squeeze several more hours out of the battery!

What do you mean? The battery died 0% then after charging and powering on it messed up? How so? And do you still need a stock boot.img? I think theres one linked pages back but if the link is disfunctional i can link one, also lg put the stock firmware.kdz out so we can flash to stock with their recovery tool in download mode.

I rooted it successsfully then when it died and stayed dead for half a day...I charged it and it just went into a gray/black screen.
I had to erase everything on it to get it out of that loop.
Now, I have no phone.

Strange, theres no plain grey or black images during the bootimg or animation they both have images. Maybe a defective device? Or something done with root. Vol + while off and plugging to usb should take you to download mode even if boot part is boinked
I can get into fastboot mode easily and download mode.
But no matter what I use..
It never works or gets recognized in any of the lg flash tools or lgup.
