What are the most annoying things about the HTC 10?

I'm trying to decide between the HTC 10, Moto Z, Pixel 5" and Pixel XL, and the HTC 10 seems more my speed, but it's a bit big for my hand (the Recents button is hard to reach from my left hand especially with a case on it) and the camcorder has this weird robotic effect from the image stabilizer I'm guessing (like a robot is handling the camera).

The Pixel 5" is more my size but I'm not amazed by it and I'd like a slightly bigger screen (the Galaxy S7 has the same reach issue as the HTC 10 but worse because I use the Back button the most), and I didn't really have a reach problem on the Pixel XL but the 128GB version is always out of stock, so I'm just thinking of trying the HTC 10 (but that requires buying all these accessories for damage prevention as well as USB-C chargers I'd have to return if I had too many issues with it).

For all you HTC 10 owners, what are the most annoying or problematic issues with it, or why would you recommend the other phones? I'm on Verizon BTW, not that you need to be to answer this thread.

Don't poo-poo the LG v20 without giving it a chance. Sure, it's a large phone, but fits great in the hand and has features to help smaller hands cope with the size.

I was strictly an HTC fan but their insistence to copy the iPhone/Samsung with sealed batteries, no sd storage and glass backs pushed me to a change for the better. Very satisfied two months in.

The biggest problem with the HTC 10 is there are no serious problems. The forum was created in January 2016 and has generated only 6 pages so far. I won't say it's completely trouble free but the problems are more like personal usage issues as opposed to actual hardware or software problems. I hope this trend continues actually.

5.7" phones are difficult for me to handle. I like to refer to them as "purse phones" because ladies tended to love the Note when it first came out way more than guys did.

How do you know there's not many posts because not many people have bought it? Verizon has 0 in store to purchase near me, they'll have to ship it from wherever they stash the rest of them. I love hearing however that there's relatively little problems with the phone, my only issues with it are the tiny bottom buttons spread further apart than the Pixel XL (and about as much as the Galaxy S7) which are a bit difficult to reach one handed with my thumb, and the camcorder has this weird robotic image stabilization that I didn't notice on the Pixels.

Most HTC 10s were purchased from HTC directly or so I think. A deep dive on the web could probably prove/disprove that but that's what I'm thinking. Purchasing from the manufacturer avoids carrier bloat-ware, that's always a good thing. Has anyone ever used t-mobile TV or Verizon messaging? Anywho back to the subject...

My 10 has a crack/slash in the upper right corner that I cannot account for. How can that happen if you keep it in a case? Hope they do better with their 835 device.

So I'm annoyed that the screen wasn't stronger.

I personally hate Verizon for to their business practices, but I have to say that their Messages+ is my favorite messaging app. My whole family uses it, and they seem to really care about updating it. It's one is those new advanced messaging services. You can create a quick gif to send, share location while driving, auto backup of messages, and much much more. What's cool is I believe it's available on any phone.
