Turn off the ZTE Blade V8 Pro's annoying “high-power-consumption” warnings

I’m sure ZTE means well enough but just like on Huawei devices, the ZTE Blade V8 Pro will pester you to close apps they feel are using “excessive battery.” The problem with this is that in almost every case the notification shows you the apps you are most frequently using.

Spend most of your day browsing Facebook? A “high-power-consumption” notification will pop up to warn you about Facebook is using up all of your battery. Watch a lot YouTube videos? Yup, you can expect to get a notification about that as well.

It’s annoying at best and really only makes the user (you) more paranoid about every app installed on the phone. My advice? Turn it off. Here’s how:
  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap on the Power manager tile
  3. Select Fast battery drain apps
  4. Select Display high-power-consumption apps in status bar
  5. In the top right, tap on the toggle button to the OFF position for all apps (or toggle off for each app individually)
