Cat S60 SD card issue

Is there a limit to what size of SD card can be used for internal storage?

I have a 2, 64 and 128 gig SD cards.

They all work for external storage but only the 2 gig card works for internal storage.

I thought it was a hardware fault with my phone but I just received a brand new one and I have the same issues, anyone any ideas.

My phone has been laboring over the last few days, and I realized it's because it's constantly pinging the SD card... reading it, complaining about it, etc. In the past I'd see an occasional complaint saying the SD card wasn't compatible, which made no sense as it's the same card I used in other android devices, but it still worked.

Finally last night, it claims the SD card is corrupted, and won't read it anymore. I haven't had an opportunity yet to plug it into my computer to see if it actually failed, or if it's an issue with my phone. Will update once I check it out.

I have the same problem. I have owned the phone since Christmas 2016. It happened in August 2017. I have a samsung 128gb card in there, formatted as internal memory. I rebooted the phone, and it went into a boot loop, and the only remedy was to remove the sd card. Now it says the sd card is corrupt. I have yet to reformat the card. On closer inspection, it looks like one of the pins in the sd card slot looks a bit wonky. If possible, please can you take a photo and post it up here? I would take a pic, but it won't let me due to the lack of sd card.
