Motorola really has been ahead of it's time. The Moto X was trying to be everything the Pixel has become. Yea I know they didn't have bleeding edge specs but the whole "A.I. will be the big thing in the future" that Pixel wants to stand on ... Well Moto X was listening and responding, and answering calls and replying to texts 4 years ago. Just say'n. Google should have kept Motorola and had them be the hardware division of Google. We'd have much better Pixels, I can promise you that.

So couple of questions for the peanut gallery. My wife is thinking of jumping ship from AT&T to join me on Fi.
Question 1. She has a Samsung (ugh) Note Edge. Perfect condition. Any idea what I should ask for that phone on the secondary market?
Question 2. She does not like big phones, barely able to put up with the size of the Note over the past 18 months. She looked over a friend of ours 6P and thought it was "big". Should I offer up the Pixel to her? I have not heard good things about the 5X. Anyone have solid, good experiences with the 5X?
well we'd both like to have phones of our choice, I have been stressing over that for about 5 months now since they released the Pixels. Project Fi has a wopping 5 phones to choose from ... N6, N6P, N5X, Pixel, Pixel XL.
So... for her if she wants to jump now, she has the option in "smaller" phones of 5X or Pixel.
It appears that I am going to get my house painted. With commercial-grade stuff, like they use on Home Depot and Wal-Mart buildings. It's like millimeters thick and guaranteed for life.
Also expensive, but what can you expect from a one-time application? I will get a good chunk back through tax-breaks next year, but it means I will have to itemize.
I'm just happy that someone else will be doing all the work.
