It doesn't tell us much.

So, can you supply more information? Precise phone model (there are different versions of M7), what recovery image is this, is the bootloader unlocked would be the minimum needed, whether you checked the md5 sum of the image after download, whether you've been able to fastboot flash anything else previously would also be nice to know.

Meanwhile I'll ask a moderator to move this thread to a better place (the HTC Desire forum doesn't get many visitors these days, since that's a 7 year old phone).
