Broken Google Play Store (App Sync) + FIX

I'm not sure if everyone is experiencing who has this phone or if it has been brought up in any other threads here but, every time I have wiped this phone I noticed that I wasn't able to select this device to restore my apps after signing into Google on it. All my other devices where there and current. I was careful to try to sync everything I could find each time before a wipe but, couldn't necessarily confirm that was happening. Didn't think much of it other than a fluke, bug, or maybe Google just hated me, i just moved on. I have always found Googles feature to be pretty buggy anyway.

The other day wiped and well damn it happened (or didn't rather) again. Kind of upset because it had been a long stretch with the phone and had many more apps to remember. While reinstalling apps manually from the play store something struck me to do this from my computer and choose the device. It wasn't listed but, all my other devices were. Based on what I did to fix I think it's safe to assume the following... That the damn preloaded crap store build on the phone bugs out every time there is a fresh wipe and on first init experience or newly purchased phone. So, it basically never gets the opportunity to tell the play store you have anew device and doesn't even try later cause I have had this phone for several months already. God knows what else the first init process does, the phone comes preloaded with Facebook for Christs sake and probably uploads all your contacts and personal information to Yahoo with the friendly preloaded "Smart Contacts" app. Yahoo is the only search engine that ever tried to give my PC a virus just by visiting in my browser.

This may be a fix for App Sync and online Play Store. I'm not wiping my phone again for fun but based on my findings to test all of it but, I suspect it's likely related to why the device never shows after a wipe. Figure you may have the bug and not even know it based on less used feature but, maybe end up being some kind of gotcha later with losing something else.

FIX...
On the phone go to Settings.
Then Apps.
Scroll down to Google Play Store.
Hit Clear Data
Hit Force Stop
Now open Google Play Store
Hit Accept

To verify if you have the issue or that it is resolved use a PC to brows the google play store and try to install an app to your device. You should be able to see your ZTEN9518.
