What is Good in VR?

I preordered my Samsung S8. Assuming the VR Kit gets to me, what do you recommend to watch or play? I've never done VR before and don't know anything about what is good.
Also, is it safe for kids? I have a 4yo and a 2yo.
I know they will want to try it.

I had a Chinese knock-off Cardboard headset with a Bluetooth controller and I sat in an empty theater with a stupidly large screen. I'm not a psychologist but I'd say wait until 6 years old.

i like mine for watching 3d movies. nobody in the house likes 3d so that's what i use mine for. its also nice to lay flat on your back or a recliner and watch Netflix

I wasn't putting down that Movie experience.it actually reminded me of watching b-movies in some of the Grand Movie Palaces of Boston back in the 70's even a killer horror film like "Carrie" couldn't fill the Paramount back in the day.

Space Shooters are really fun in VR as long as you have a handheld controller.
