Hi just interested in this subject, two from me

Monument Valley (game)
Being a fan of the artist MC Escher I had to try this and was not disappointed, its unique.

Solid Explorer
Looking for a file manager that could access smb drives limits your choices and es file explorer has dug its own grave in my opinion.

Looking through my paid apps on the play store some were cheap and I just apid for them to get rid of the adds but the above two are ones I would re install after a factory reset.

MX Player Pro - To support the developer for such a great app. Same thing with Nova Launcher. I expect to pay for games so to me that's a non-issue but some of these apps are just so good you have to give the developer something. Somehow I think they appreciate money more than a glowing review.

Probably the majority of my apps are paid. I prefer that to adverts, and though I have a system-wide adblocker (so wouldn't see most ads anyway) I reckon that developers shouldn't be expected to work for nothing so I will switch to the paid version of any app I actually use.

So off the top of my head a couple of SMS apps, a few file browsers, a couple of web browsers, several calendar apps, a couple of email clients, a notepad app, Calendar Snooze, custom widget apps, a few calculators, system information/battery monitor apps, Titanium Backup Pro, Nova Prime (and a couple of other launchers), a couple of music players, and doubtless others I've forgotten (edit: such as Tasker, which has been posted below).

Many, many icon packs
Calendar Snooze and Calendar Notifier

and a lot that I don't use anymore or am forgetting about

If the app is good and one I plan on using I'll buy it every time, no ads and dev support is a good thing in my book.

Well most of my purchases are games.
I own 9 kemco rpg, Crescent Moon Games famous titles Aralon and Ravensword, Evocreo, Lost Guardian Hyper, Bloon TD 5, Unlucky Hero, Zombie City Defense, Demong Hunter, Fist of Light, Lost Journey, Crystal Story and a bunch more that I can't recall. On this platform full of freemium online games the quality games are still the paid ones.

I also own close to 20 icon packs because I like to theme, I also bought a camera and calculator pro licenses cause I find the apps useful and would like to support the devs but probably my most favorite purchase is Nova Prime since I use it everyday and is in love with drawer tabs.

I could get a sideways update from DataViz if I needed it.

I did buy Swiftkey, but the problems they were having got me annoyed and I deleted it. Using Super Keyboard now. I also have Smart Keyboard and Fleksy.

I have a lot of weather apps. Some remakes allowed by NOAA, I've paid for. Accuweather is paid. Others have no way to pay and I won't subscribe as they seem to want the subscriptions more for information and social uses as well as updates.

I still have the original Weatherbug on one tablet.

Since I have rooted phones in the past, I do have Titanium Backup in the app list, plus a few others.

Arcus Full Upgrade (Arcus Weather): Uses forecast.io data
Automagic * Automation: I find it much better than Tasker
CarHome Ultra Unlocker: I find it better than Android Auto
Ascendo DataVault: Long time user of this cross platform password manager
ES File Explorer/Manager PRO: Was the gold standard, but I prefer Solid Explorer
Full Version Unlock (Solid Explorer File Manager): As above
Nova Launcher Prime: Don't use it, but offer at 10p I got it just in case
Optional Addon for Music Boss (Music Boss for Pebble): Great for the Pebble watch
OTA Token Pack 400 (ViewRanger Trails & Maps): Maps for walking app
Permanent Ad Removal (Speedtest.net): I use it enough and don't like ads
Pro Version (Custom Quick Settings): Clever app to customise (add to) Quick Settings
Send/Expect: Use to control my Router at home
Torque Pro (OBD 2 & Car): Fun with cars
Vehicle Smart Premium (Vehicle Smart): Handy to keep track of Tax, MOT etc
Weather Timeline - Forecast: Another one that uses forcast.io data
