Bluetooth battery monitor

Hey Everyone,

when you (quickly) google on bluetooth battery you don't get any decent apps except for getting the monitor for your headset,

there was a project (potential) which provided this functionality but you need to be in the beta program but don't seem to be able to log in anymore (I can't create a new account and it doesn't recognize my e-mail no more)

Now, I'm an app developer in my free time, and I wondered if anyone else well,
1) knows another app where you can see the battery level via bluetooth
2) would find this useful?

I really appreciated this app but don't find it necessary to have this information to be synchronized with the internet (bluetooth would suffice).

I don't think this is to hard to make, and am deeply contemplating doing it just for me, but if I'm going to add it to the play store some testing would be necessary, I once created a lock screen for my nephew to teach him basic equations but things went awry when testing it on the device of my brother.

Also, I just looked up how to read the battery status and my fantasy is once more adding features before the first line of code is written...

I want to conduct a small markt survey here to see if others would want this in the first place, and if so, what they would want...

(I have a history of unfinished projects and am working on one right now where I need a little break from; this seems like a nice appetizer. I think I'll code it anyway but also silently hope providing others with useful software (just to know whether I should aim for 10 users or 1000 ;-)

Thanks for reading, I'd appreciate any feedback;

I'm not intending to make the app paying...

I don't think they can, because AFAIK usually Bluetooth headsets, headphones and speakers have no provision for reporting their battery status to the host device via Bluetooth.

A few BT devices can, like Bose headphones($$$$), but this is completely proprietary to Bose devices and Bose app.
